A striking handblown art glass vase, decorated throughout with a lively confetti-like mixture of white, amber, yellow and warm brown glass fragments suspended within clear glass.
The vase has an elegant, highly sculptural form, with a rounded bulbous lower body narrowing into a slender elongated neck before opening into an expressive, organically undulating flared rim. The darker brown and amber inclusions become particularly concentrated around the lower body, while fine elongated trails of coloured glass extend upwards through the neck and around the rim.
The decoration has considerable depth and variation, with individual fragments ranging from tiny flecks to larger irregular pieces, creating an attractive confetti/scrambled-glass effect.
The base retains an inward, rough pontil, consistent with handblown manufacture.
Measurements: approximately 17cm high x 8cm at the widest point of the bulb.
Condition: Very good overall, with no significant damage noted.
