Antique Mason's Patent Ironstone Plate – 19th Century Imari Chinoiserie Style (Circa 1820

Add a striking touch of Regency-era elegance to your home or collection with this beautiful antique English ironstone plate.

Dating back to the early 19th century (circa 1815–1825), this piece showcases the iconic and highly collectible Imari "Bamboo and Peony" design, which features hand-painted and transfer-printed stylized oriental landscapes, traditional garden fences, tall bamboo stalks, and a magnificent central orange peony flower.

Crafted in Staffordshire, England, this plate is made from durable ironstone body, complete with a classic indented, scalloped rim. The bold color palette combines rich underglaze cobalt blue with vibrant iron-red and orange enamels, accented by subtle green details.

This piece features no maker's mark or backstamp on the reverse side. Unmarked pottery was incredibly common during the early Georgian and Regency production eras (early 1800s), as factories prioritized filling large orders over branding every individual component of a tableware service. The weight, molded scalloped shape, body composite, and exact pattern match securely attribute this piece to early 19th-century English ironstone production.

Very Good Antique Condition: This piece is in exceptional shape for its 200-year history. No Damage: Completely free of chips, cracks, hairline fractures, or structural repairs.
Light age-related wear to the hand-painted enamels and minor manufacturing anomalies characteristic of early pottery production may be present under close examination.
