With the favoured and highly collectable mint green ground with central floating cabbage rose and fine gilt detailing.
Double warrant mark circa 1939-49, denotes the period in which both Royal warrants for Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth were held.
The condition of all 4 cups and saucers is near-mint. There is the tinyest speck were gilt has not adhered during aplication, on the top of each handle. Otherwise,condition is exceptional.
There is not even the usual wear to the gilt. This is a set that has spent the last 70+ years in a cabinet, free from light fade etc.
Unrepeatably rare find.
