Very Rare Haviland & Co. (Limoges, France) Deep Blue Earthenware Glazed Floral Babotine 3 Footed Posey Vase.
Circa 1875.
Decorated and signed by Edouard Girard.
Featuring a beautifully mottled deep blue glaze on a small tri-footed guord-form and with the incised E.G. initials of Eduoard Girard.
Fully stamped with incised 'H&C' 'L'
Model '30'
The floral artwork is perfect with areas of babotine applied relief.
The interior is finished with a dark mustard glaze.
Measures 12cm x 8cm.
The overall condition is exceptionally good to the body of the vase. The feet have some edge chips and glaze loss.
