19th Century Graingers Worcester Reticulated Pierced Porcelain Loose Spill/Posey Vase
Measures 13.3cm x 6.2cm.
Very rare pierced conical vase with ornate reticulated design featuring three face masks and intricate floral scrolls.
Circa 1880's
This spill vase is 'loose' and is not mounted. It will need to be hung or mounted on a stand.
There are no visible marks, where a more usual foot arrangement may heve been removed, and so it appears to have been originally crafted as a free cone design that will have been mounted in a loop or stand.
A design attributed to Graingers Worcester, used on many Footed vase examples.
There is one small area of damage to the pierced design. Please see last photo.
A very rare piece.
