The design beautifully captures the highly collectible Florentine aesthetic popularized by designer Milvia Scarpa, showcased through vibrant, hand-painted multi-colored geometric diamond panels outlined in a stylized black wash. Complete with a classic theatrical black mask and ruffled collar, the character's flared cape forms a shallow basin. Condition
This piece is in very good vintage condition. There are absolutely no structural cracks, chips to the main body, or hairline fractures. The colors remain incredibly bright and vibrant under a high-gloss glaze. Please note there is one tiny bit of minor glaze loss located right on the lower outer edge of the black painted foot, which is very common for vintage Italian art pottery of this age and does not affect its display or structural integrity.
