Vintage Yare Designs Spagetti Donkey Figure Ornament Made in England Mcm Donkey

Yare Designs figurine.

Made by Yare Designs at one of their Potteries in or Near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk.

The Figure is 7 1/4 Tall to the Tip of his Ears and Measures around 10" in Length. Yare's Techniques applied a Rough Textured Surface to their Animals. Dragons were made in great numbers, but Yare Donkeys are quite Rare.

Very Good Condition

This early piece would have had a Paper Label .Later Models had the letters "YD" incised somewhere on the Base - but there are no such Marks on this Figure, so I believe that it came from Yare's early days - soon after 1969
