An exceptional find for the discerning Scandinavian glass collector. This mid-century modern "Sommerso" art glass vase was designed by Josef Schott for Smålandshyttan, Sweden, circa 1960.
It features a striking, rich amethyst purple core flawlessly encased in a heavy, organic clear crystal form.
What sets this museum-quality investment piece apart is its pristine, rare preservation state.
It retains both of its original factory labels entirely intact: the official "Smålandshyttan Sweden" brand foil sticker and the definitive "Schott" designer attribution sticker underneath.
Double-labeled examples from this era are incredibly scarce, as most labels were lost to time or washing.
