Vintage Molaroni Pesaro Italian Majolica 15cm Grotesque Baluster Vase

An exquisite mid-century Italian majolica baluster vase crafted by the renowned Molaroni factory in Pesaro, Italy.

Circa 1940-50.

This striking 15cm table piece showcases a vibrant, entirely hand-painted Raffaellesco style grotesque pattern.

Symmetrical scrolls, stylized foliage, and intricate geometric scales stand out against a warm, traditional ochre yellow backdrop.

The underside proudly bears the authentic, hand-written underglaze workshop signature.

Overall in very good vintage condition with highly stable glazing and excellent color retention.

Consistent with genuine, soft-bodied tin-glazed earthenware of this era, there are two tiny paint flecks on the bottom rim base and two small, minor underglaze rim paint misses on the upper rim from production.

Free from structural cracks, hairline fractures, or post-factory restorations.
