Designed by the celebrated British-born artist Dorothy Clough during her prolific tenure at the renowned Upsala-Ekeby studio, this delightful earthenware figurine (Model No. 8007) captures a cat in a highly playful, stylized pose lying flat on its back.

Produced in Sweden between 1956 and 1967, it features Clough’s signature deeply incised linear textures, a vibrant semi-matte yellow/mustard glaze, and charming hand-painted blue eyes.
