Antique Early 19th Century Staffordshire Aesop's Fables Ceramic Fox Head & Grapes Hand Painted Stirrup Cup.
Hand painted with a lovely whimsical expression and in a beautiful burnt orange glaze. The interior is finished with a cream glaze, and the base rim is unglazed.
There is no visible maker's mark (as usual with these).
Measures 12cm x 6.5cm
The piece is in exceptionally fine condition with no cracks, chips, or damage of any kind.
A very rare find in this condition.
